Introduction to Los Nevados Circuit

Located in the Andean highlands of Colombia, the Los Nevados Circuit is a 4-day trek that offers breathtaking views of glaciers, snow-capped peaks, and lush cloud forests. This challenging hike takes you through some of the most beautiful and remote regions of the country, providing an unforgettable experience for adventure-seekers.

Preparing for the Trek

Before embarking on this journey, it's essential to be well-prepared. The Los Nevados Circuit is a high-altitude trek, reaching elevations above 4,500 meters (14,764 ft). • Be sure to pack layers for unpredictable weather conditions.
  • Bring sturdy hiking boots and crampons for icy terrain.
  • Consider hiring a guide or joining a guided group, especially if you're not familiar with high-altitude treks.
