Just got back from Bolivia and wanted to share some advice on visiting the Salar de Uyuni. We went in April and it was still a bit chilly at dawn and dusk, but the sunrises over the salt flats are not to be missed. If you're planning a trip, consider the rainy season for a truly surreal experience - the mirror-like reflections are incredible, but be prepared for some mud and rough roads.
