I've done the Ausangate Circuit twice now and have mixed feelings about using a tour operator versus going solo. If you're planning to do it yourself, make sure you know what you're getting into - the altitude is no joke and the weather can change quickly. Has anyone had good experiences with a specific tour group or guide that they'd recommend for this trek?
