Where the Mountains Touch the Sky and Time Stands Still
Hey fellow travelers, I've been visiting the highland markets for years and I'm always looking for the best time to see the local weavers working on their traditional textiles. My experience is that during the dry season (May-October), the markets are less crowded and you can really focus on chatting with the artisans about their techniques and designs, which is a huge part of the fun for me. Has anyone else noticed any differences in the types of textiles available or the weavers' styles depending on the time of year?
